The Chinese brand OPPO has launched a marketing campaign for the compact Oppo Pad Mini tablet, Oppo Find X9 Ultra Set to Dazzle with Dual 200MP Cameras and Massive Battery Launching April 21.

Previously, the product director of the Chinese brand Qiao Jiadong shared a small teaser of the new gadget on his social networks, and now a video has been posted on Wiebo demonstrating the small size of the tablet.

What is known

The main idea conveyed by the company is that the novelty is so compact that it can be comfortably held in one hand while scrolling through pages.

It is known that the Oppo Pad Mini will be positioned as an affordable alternative to the iPad Mini. It will have an 8.8” screen and a large enough battery with a capacity of 8000 mAh supporting 67 W charging. The tablet, however, features an incredibly thin body of 5.39 mm and will weigh only 279 g, whereas the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a 4800/5100 mAh battery (depending on the model) and a 6.9” display is only 46 g lighter than the new Oppo device.

Importantly, to achieve this size, Oppo did not have to compromise on flagship features, which ensures that customers get a gadget with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, excellent battery life, and an OLED display.

The memory capacity is still unknown. Insiders report that the new device will support eSIM, but it's unclear if this will apply to all versions.
