Dyson Unveils HushJet Mini Cool: Tiny Fan Packing a 90 km/h Punch in Your Pocket
Shortly before the hot days arrive, the popular brand Dyson introduced the HushJet Mini Cool — a compact portable fan that embodies the brand's signature technologies in an ultra-mobile format. The gadget weighs only 212 grams, comparable to the size of a smartphone, yet provides a powerful directed airflow.
Power in the Palm
Despite the miniature body with a diameter of 38 mm, it is equipped with a high-speed DC motor that rotates up to 65,000 revolutions per minute. This allows the device to generate an airflow of up to 90 km/h. Dyson engineers applied the HushJet air projection system, which minimizes turbulence: the flow remains stable and powerful, yet the device operates significantly quieter than its counterparts — the noise level at minimum speed is only 52 dBA.
Versatile Design
Dyson focused on the “always with you” scenario, offering three usage options:
- handheld — the fan is easy to hold in hand during walks;
- desktop — it comes with a special dock station that turns the gadget into a small stationary fan;
- wearable — with the help of the Neck Dock attachment, the device can be fixed for face cooling, freeing your hands.
Autonomy and Design
The HushJet Mini Cool is powered by a 5000 mAh battery, which lasts for 6 hours of continuous operation depending on the mode (a total of 5 speeds and turbo mode Boost are available). Charging is done via a USB-C port and takes about three hours.
Visually, the novelty follows the modern design of Dyson devices with bright accents. Three color options are available: dark blue, red, and gray — each with an additional shade.
Availability and Price
The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool is already on sale at $99. In the near future, the company plans to release additional accessories, including mounts for backpacks and strollers.
