Huawei Unveils Pura 90 Series: Retro Design and Vibrant Colors Await on April 20
The Chinese brand Huawei has announced the date of the presentation of its next flagship smartphone series: the Huawei Pura 90 lineup will be unveiled on April 20.
This year, the company's strategy has undergone changes: according to preliminary data, it will focus on two senior models — Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max. Insiders report that the release of the Ultra version in the current generation has been abandoned.
Design inspired by retro hits
The appearance of the new products will be a reference to the classics: the smartphones will feature flat metal edges and vibrant gradient colors reminiscent of the legendary Huawei P20 Pro. The front panel will be occupied by a display with record narrow bezels, while the back will retain the recognizable triangular camera block.
The manufacturer has prepared a wide range of shades for each model:
- Huawei Pura 90 Pro: Mulberry Black, Coconut White, Orange Soda, and Pink Guava.
- Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max: Obsidian Black, Dawn Gold, Purple Sunset, Orange Ocean, and Emerald Lake.
The camera block will house the main sensor, ultra-wide-angle lens, and periscopic telephoto lens controlled by the XMAGE system, which should enhance post-processing and zoom performance.
The new products will run on the new Kirin chip with AI features and under the control of HarmonyOS 6.
