Samsung is working on Galaxy M52: Snapdragon 778G chip, 5G support and 64MP triple camera
Last September Samsung introduced its budget smartphone Galaxy M51 with a giant 7000 mAh battery, and now it is reported that the company is already preparing its successor.
What we know
The novelty is called Galaxy M52. According to leaks, the device will boast a fresh Snapdragon 778G processor. As a reminder, this is a 6-nanometer SoC with Kryo 670 cores, Adreno 642L graphics and an integrated 5G Snapdragon X53 modem. By the way, the same chip is installed in Honor 50 smartphones.
Galaxy M52 is also expected with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 main sensor. It will be complemented by a 12 MP wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera. As for the depth sensor, it looks like it will be removed from the device. Unfortunately, there are no other characteristics of the smartphone yet.
When to expect
The presentation of the Galaxy M52 should take place in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
