Elon Musk confirms Tesla Cybertruck can turn rear wheels like Hummer EV
Tesla co-founder Elon Musk continues to reveal the features of the electric pickup truck Cybertruck.
What we know now
This time, the billionaire tweeted that the commercial version of the car will boast the ability to turn the rear wheels. This will allow the electric truck to be more maneuverable. By the way, the Hummer EV has a similar function. General Motors calls this drive mode CrabWalk. Interestingly, Tesla did not initially talk about such a possibility. It was added after the demonstration of the car in 2019.
Friday afternoons are usually Tesla design studio time. Cybertruck will be almost exactly what was shown. We're adding rear wheel steering, so it can do tight turns & maneuver with high agility.

Lot of other great things coming.
By the way, the production version of the Cybertruck will also receive an unusual steering wheel like in the new Model S, as well as a 17-inch display.
Tesla plans to launch an electric pickup truck on the market later this year. The car will be sold in three versions. The simplest one will have monodrive and will be able to run 400 km on a single charge. This version will accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds. The other two models will boast of all-wheel drive, acceleration of 4.5 and 2.9 seconds, as well as run range up to 480 and 800 km, respectively.
