Xiaomi has announced its new low-cost robot vacuum cleaner in China - MiJia Robot 2.

What we know

The new product has a familiar for this class of devices appearance and one specific feature - the LDS laser navigation system. It is able to scan difficult areas and obstacles on the way. In addition, the new model can boast a suction power of 2800 Pa and an upgraded ultrasonic mop. It can kill 99.9% of bacteria and remove even the most stubborn stains. It can be connected to Xiaomi's smart home system and controlled through the XiaoAi voice assistant.

Price and when to expect

MiJia Robot 2 is already sold in China. The price is $247.
