Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 tested in Geekbench 5 ahead of the presentation
Recently, the Honor Magic 3 smartphone on Snapdragon 888+ was seen in Geekbench 4. Following it, Mi Mix 4 visited the benchmark. But the future flagship Xiaomi passed the performance test in Geekbench 5.
The average result
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will get a 5-nanometer SoC Snapdragon 888+. It differs from Snapdragon 888 only by an increased peak frequency of the Prime-core Cortex-X1 from 2.84 GHz to 2.995 GHz. It is not yet clear how this will affect real performance, but no changes are visible in synthetics.
In Single-Core mode, the smartphone scored 857 points. In Multi-Core, the result is 2995 points. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S21 on Snapdragon 888 benchmark awards an average of 910 parrots and 2,980 parrots, respectively. As you can see, in single-core mode, the Snapdragon 888+ performed even worse, despite the increased frequency. Perhaps the final version of the smartphone will pass the test more confidently.
As a reminder, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the second model of the series in 2021 after the foldable phone Mi Mix Fold. The presentation is scheduled for August 10th.
