To confuse you even more: is OnePlus hinting that the flagship 9T will still come out?
OnePlus usually releases two flagship smartphone lines per year - regular with numbering in spring and with prefix "T" in name in fall. But there are rumors that this year OnePlus will break tradition and not release OnePlus 9T.

wait?This was reported on social media a few weeks ago by insider Max Jambor. He wasn't much verbose and didn't explain why it's not worth waiting for the 9T this year . Some speculate that OnePlus simply has no worthwhile ideas and developments, also some blame the merger with OPPO.
And it seems like everyone has already resigned themselves to the idea that the OnePlus 9T will not this year . But here the manufacturer itself decided to add fuel to the fire and posted a cryptic post on social networks. It reads: "#OnePlus9 in tea. Don't get hung up on this". That said, as everyone remembers from school curriculum, the word tea, tea, reads like the letter T.

Maybe this is a hint at the OnePlus 9T announcement, or maybe OnePlus is just fooling everyone and getting attention this way. It's not impossible that this post is just a hint to that the OnePlus 9 will get another blue coloring.
For example, OnePlus recently posted a video on social media that showed some sort of gadget that looked like a foldable smartphone. But it actually turned out to be just two OnePlus 9s, which were being given away for the price of one in the US market.
