Boston Dynamics showed Atlas robot parkour on video
Boston Dynamics is known for its nearly $75,000 robotic dog Spot. But there are other solutions in its range. For example, two-legged robots Atlas, which were able to learn parkour.
Boston Dynamics released two new videos at once. The first video showed Atlas robots doing parkour. They synchronously do somersaults, jump and pass obstacle courses. In the second video, the developers talk about the challenges they encountered while teaching the robots all the tricks.

Atlas, unlike Spot, is not a production solution, but a research platform that allows engineers to test new technologies. It took Boston Dynamics specialists several months to create a set of exercises. It provided an opportunity to test Atlas robots by testing their ability to maintain equilibrium by changing behavior and coordinating actions.
