CAD models of Apple Watch Series 7 have surfaced online: the smartwatch will be designed in the style of iPhone 12

Our colleagues at 91mobiles have got hold of drawings of the new Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch and used them to create CAD renderings of the device.

What

As previously expected, the new model will receive an updated design. The watch will resemble the iPhone 12. That is, they will have a case with straight edges. In addition, they should be equipped with a flat display with reduced bezels.

Recall that Apple Watch Series 7 is also attributed an increased battery. This will make the watch a bit thicker, but users won't notice it. Moreover the gadget will get improved wireless connectivity and UWB (Ultra Wideband) technology, which can be found in AirTag.

When to Expect

If the latest leaks are to be believed, the Apple Watch Series 7 will be unveiled in September. The watch will be unveiled along with the iPhone 13, AirPods 3, the new iPad mini and the budget iPad 9th generation.
