PowerUp 4.0 - a paper airplane that is controlled by smartphone [video]
The PowerUp 4.0 device takes paper airplanes to a new level thanks to the built-in motor and two processors that help stabilize the machine in flight.
According to the developers' assurances, the device works even with "non-ideal" airplanes, thanks to the modern onboard computer and auto-stabilizers.
Besides, it is supposed to be used not only with paper airplanes, but with plastic ones as well, making them "all-weather". The device itself and the computer technology inside are not affected by weather conditions.
The airplane is controlled via smartphone application and the flight time from one battery charge is 10 minutes.
The cost of the device on the manufacturer's website ranges from $12 to $23, depending on the configuration of ready-made airplanes made of plastic or paper blanks.
