Sony Xperia 10 III Lite: Snapdragon 690, OLED screen and 4500mAh battery at $425
Sony has unexpectedly presented smartphone Xperia 10 III Lite. The novelty is a simplified version of the model Xperia 10 III, which was announced in mid-spring 2021.
What has changed?
Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is almost the same as the original model. The smartphone retained a 6" FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 690 processor and a 4,500mAh battery with 30-watt charging. The main camera resolution was 12MP + 8MP + 8MP and the front camera was 8MP.
The first difference concerns the flash storage capacity. It was reduced from 128GB to 64GB. The RAM remains 6 GB. The second difference is the refusal of a radio, though in 2021 very few people pay attention to FM-radio support.
Also the developers have removed the hybrid slot. In Sony Xperia 10 III Lite you can install one microSD card and one SIM card, but there is support for eSIM.
Price and availability
The recommended price of Sony Xperia 10 III Lite was $425. Recall that the original model was priced at $470. The smartphone will go on sale on August 27, 2021 with Android 11 OS. Buyers will be available in white, black red and blue colors.
