Vivo Y33s: MediaTek Helio G80 chip, 50 MP triple camera, 5000 mAh battery and $245 price tag
Vivo announced today in India its new budget smartphone Y-series.
What is known
The novelty was named Vivo Y33s. The device has a plastic body with dimensions 164.26×76.08×8 mm and weighs 182 g, as well as a flat 6.58-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2408×1080p and a drop cutout. The MediaTek Helio G80 processor is responsible for the performance of the device. The SoC is paired with 12GB of RAM (8GB physical + 4GB virtual). The novelty comes with 128 GB of storage (+ microSD) and the branded Funtouch OS 11.1 shell based on Android 11.
As for cameras, the device got a single 16 MP front camera and a triple main camera with a 50 MP main sensor. It is complemented by a 2 MP macro lens and the same depth sensor. The Vivo Y33s is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It charges through the USB-C port using an 18W power supply. The device also has NFC, headphone jack, side fingerprint scanner, Dual-Band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GNSS.
