Snapdragon 870, 5000 mAh and 120Hz display starting at $370 - Features and pricing of the new Realme GT Neo
At the end of March, Realme introduced the Realme GT Neo, which was the first in the world to receive the Dimensity 1200 chip. Now the manufacturer is preparing to premiere an improved version of the smartphone. Specifications and price are already known.
What will change?
The new version of the Realme GT Neo will have five differences from the original model, including memory capacities and cost. The upcoming novelty will get a 7nm Snapdragon 870 processor and will not be offered in a modification with 6GB of RAM. Only 8/128GB and 12/256GB versions will be available.
The bundled battery capacity will increase by 20% to 5000 mA*h instead of 4500 mA*h. The developers will also increase the fast charging power by wire - from 50W to 65W.
At the same time the upcoming novelty will retain a 6.43" Super AMOLED display with refresh rate of 120 Hz, stereo speakers and 16MP front-facing camera. The main camera resolution will be 64MP + 8MP + 2MP. The smartphone will go on sale with Realme UI 2.0 firmware based on Android 11 operating system.
Price and when to expect?
The original model in 8/128GB and 12/256GB modifications was priced at $305 and $350 respectively. The improved Realme GT Neo base version will cost $370 at once. The top-end variant will cost $415. Sales launch date has not been specified yet.
