new renders showcase iPad mini 6 with iPad Pro-inspired design, 8.4-inch screen, thinner bezel, and stylus support
We have already written more than once that Apple is preparing to release a compact tablet iPad mini 6 with an updated design. Now the novelty has appeared on the next quality renders.
What is known
Images of the tablet were shared by a designer under the nickname @apple_idesigne. The concept is based on the latest leaks. The device will come in five colors and will have an iPhone 12, iPad Pro and iPad Air style body. As for the display, it will have a diagonal of 8.4 inches and will boast of reduced bezels. Because of this, Apple will move the Touch ID sensor to the side edge.
The iPad mini 6 will be powered by Apple's new octa-core A15 Bionic processor. It is also said to have USB-C charging port instead of Lightning, connectors for accessories and stylus support.
If rumors are to be believed, the device is expected to be announced in the fall.
