Google is sounding the alarm on dangerous vulnerabilities in Chrome
Google is urging users of its browser to immediately update Google Chrome after discovering seven vulnerabilities of high severity.
The vulnerabilities affect all desktop versions of the search giant's browser, regardless of whether the user is running Windows, macOS, or Linux.
In its announcement, Google listed the vulnerabilities as well as their CVE tracking numbers, though the company provided few details due to concerns that they could be exploited by cybercriminals.
Although links are listed in the announcement, the company clarified that access to them will be limited until most Chrome users update their browsers:
Access to the bug details and links may be limited until most users receive a fix. We will also maintain restrictions if the bug is in a third-party library that similarly depends on other projects that are not yet patched.
