Xiaomi cheap smartphone got RAM expansion feature
The smartphone Redmi 10 unveiled a few days ago has already managed to get a firmware update MIUI 12.5, which brought support for RAM expansion technology.
Memory Fusion feature gives the opportunity to increase the amount of RAM by 1-3 GB depending on the storage capacity. The novelty is available in 64GB and 128GB ROM modifications, which means you can add 1GB and 2GB to the RAM respectively.
Thus, the Redmi 10 ends up with 5GB (4 + 1) of RAM in the base configuration, and 6GB (4 + 2) or 8GB (6 + 2) in the maximum configuration. A 3GB RAM boost is only available on the 256GB and 512GB smartphones.
Memory Fusion support in Redmi 10 has appeared in the global stable version of MIUI 12.5 numbered v12.5.4.0 RKUMIXM. To recall, the smartphone will soon be introduced in India, but as Redmi 10 Prime and without NFC.
