Microsoft prepares Surface Go 3 with Intel Core i3-10100Y chip and 8GB RAM

Microsoft is about to launch its new tablet computer called Surface Go 3.

What is known

The device has been spotted in Geekbench performance test database. Based on the leak, the gadget will come out in two versions. The base model will get 4GB of RAM and a new Pentium Gold 6500Y chip. It is built on 14-nanometer process technology and runs at a frequency of 3.4 GHz paired with graphics UHD 615. The novelty scores Geekbench 3197 points in the single-core test and 5643 points in the multi-core test. For comparison, Surface Go 2 with Intel Core m3-8100Y chip has less "parrots" - about 2000 and 4000 respectively. 

As for the older model, it will be equipped with an Intel Core i3-10100Y processor and 8GB of RAM. 

Price and when to expect

Unfortunately, Microsoft Surface Go 3 price tag and announcement date is not yet available.
