Huawei announces global launch on September 21: Expect Huawei P50 or Huawei Nova 9 smartphone lineup
Huawei has announced a global presentation to be held in Vienna on 21 September.
What to expect
What exactly will be shown at the event the manufacturer does not say yet, but some foreign publications write that it may be a global announcement of the flagship line of smartphones Huawei P50. The devices debuted in China in July. Recall, the line includes two smartphones: Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro. The devices have OLED screens with higher refresh rates, Snapdragon 888/Kirin 9000 4G chips, advanced cameras, batteries with 66-watt wired and 55-watt wireless charging, NFC, IP68 protection and the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system.
Not everyone thinks the Huawei P50 flagship is worth waiting for on September 21. For example, insider Teme suggested that the Huawei Nova 9 line of smartphones will be shown at the global event. If rumors are to be believed, it will include at least two models: the Nova 9 and the Nova 9 Pro. The base one is credited with a Snapdragon 778G chip and fast charging at 66W. The top model, in turn, will boast a more powerful SoC and battery with fast charging support at 100W.
