The first real photos of iPhone 13 show off a major design feature
A few hours are left before the main event of the day, and we're not talking about the start of the new Champions League season. We're talking about Apple's presentation, where the new iPhone 13 will be shown. Meanwhile, real pictures of one of the upcoming new products have hit the web for the first time.
Apple's smartphones have been spotted from the rear several times, and the main thing we've learned from this is that there are minimal differences compared to the iPhone 12. One of the key features of the next generation models in terms of appearance will be a reduced "bangs".
"Monobrow" appeared back in 2017 in the iPhone X. Since then, in Android smartphones, it evolved into a drop-shaped cutout, and even later for the selfies camera began to allocate only a small hole at the top of the screen. Apple released all its models with wide "bangs". The only exception was the iPhone SE (2020).
In the photo you can see that the cutout has indeed decreased, thanks to which the status bar accommodates more elements. In particular, the battery charge level. Now you don't have to open the notification panel to do so.
Later renders showing iPhone 13 with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display leaked to the web. But take them with a healthy dose of skepticism. Most likely the new items will retain Face ID technology as the only advanced way to identify the owner. We will know in a few hours, whether this is true or not. Where to watch Apple's presentation , 20:00 (Kyiv time).
