The other day it was reported online that Samsung will unveil its new budget Galaxy F42 5G smartphone at an event on September 29. Now the company has officially confirmed this.
What is known
The novelty will get a 6.6-inch display with IPS-matrix, FHD+ resolution and picture refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood of the device will install octa-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 700. The SoC will be paired with an embedded 5G modem and 4/6GB of RAM.
In addition, the smartphone is to be equipped with a triple camera with a 64 MP main sensor, a lateral fingerprint scanner, as well as a 5,000 mAh power-capable battery. It will be charged via USB-C port using a 15W power supply.
By the way, apart from the Galaxy F42 5G, Samsung is also getting ready to release Galaxy M52 5G. It will be unveiled in India a day early - September 28.
