OPPO to unveil inexpensive smartphone with 50MP camera, Android 11 and Helio G35
OPPO is preparing to premiere a new mid-budget smartphone. It is called OPPO A54s, will be an improved version of the model A54 and will debut in the European market.
What is known
The original model appeared in the spring of 2021. It got 6.51" HD+ screen, Helio P35 chipset, 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP primary camera, 16 MP front module and 5000 mAh battery with 18 watt charging.
In OPPO A54s we will also see an IPS HD+ panel, but the diagonal will increase by 0.1", and instead of a small hole there will be a drop cutout. The resolution of the front camera will be halved to 8 megapixels.
The main feature of the future novelty will be the main camera. It will retain a couple of useless sensors at 2 MP, and the main module instead of 13-megapixel sensor will be used sensor resolution of 50 MP. Another difference from the original model will be the Helio G35 single-crystal system. You may have seen it in the Redmi 9C.
When to expect
The announcement date of OPPO A54s is not specified yet. The smartphone will arrive on the market with ColorOS 11-based Android 11 firmware in Pearl Blue and Crystal Black colors. In Europe, the model will be sold in modification 4/128 GB at a price of €219. To recall, OPPO A54 was introduced in India, where it is now priced ₹15,990 or €185 in the same configuration.
