Fortnite not working, sound issues and Wi-Fi crashing - Xiaomi has acknowledged a number of problems in popular Redmi smartphones
Xiaomi has officially acknowledged several problems reported by users of its popular Redmi smartphones.
What is known
First, in Redmi 10 camera "unlearned" to scan a QR-code. The problem is actual for models with software v12.5.3.0.RKUMIXM, v12.5.4.0.RKUMIXM and v12.5.5.5.0.RKUMIXM. The fix is already ready.
Secondly, in the same smartphone the ability to adjust volume level when Bluetooth headphones are connected is missing. The bug was noticed in the global version with MIUI 12.5 firmware number v12.5.5.0 RKUMIXM.
Thirdly, the Fortnite shooter has stopped working on the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The problem is present in firmware v12.5.3.0.RGGMIXM, v12.5.3.0.RGGEUXM and v12.5.2.0.RGGRUXM. No solution is available yet.
Fourth, the regular Redmi Note 8 automatically disables Wi-Fi. Note that this model is still running on MIUI 12 shell. An update with the fix has already been released.
Finally, fifthly, the Redmi 9 can't launch Mobile Legends. This is reported by users with firmware v12.5.1.0.RJCIDXM and v12.5.1.0.RJOIDXM. True, it's not Xiaomi's fault here. The problem can be solved by updating the game itself in the app store.
