Realme GT Neo 2 - Snapdragon 870, 120Hz AMOLED E4 screen, 5000mAh and 65W charging starting at $425
As promised, Realme has unveiled the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone powered by Snapdragon 870 processor. The novelty has made its debut in India, where it will go on sale next week.
Features
The smartphone features a 6.62" FHD+ display. It is based on Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, brightness up to 1300 nits, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10+ support. DC Dimming technology is also provided. The matrix is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 glass.
7nm Snapdragon 870 mobile processor is complemented by 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The UFS 3.1 storage has a capacity of 128GB or 256GB. The bundled battery capacity in the smartphone was 5,000mAh and the fast charging power is 65W.
The main camera in the Realme GT Neo 2 packs a 64 MP main module, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle (119 degrees) and a 2 MP sensor for macro photography. Selfie lovers will be satisfied with the 16-megapixel front module.
The novelty got Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 firmware, stereo speakers, USB-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and a fingerprint scanner built into the display. The body dimensions were 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6 mm with a weight of 200 g.
Prices and availability
The base version of the smartphone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. The price was $425. The top variant of the Realme GT Neo 2 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at $480.
The novelty will go on sale on October 17 in colors Neo Black, Neo Blue and Neo Green. First-time buyers in India will be able to buy the smartphone at a discount of about $95.
