Realme announced at a presentation on October 13 not only the smartphone Realme Neo GT 2, but also its first TV set-top box.

What is known

The novelty was called Realme 4K Smart TV Stick. It has a flash drive form factor. The gadget runs on a quad-core processor Cortex-A35. The chip comes paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The device connects to the TV using HDMI (HDMI 2.1). The gadget supports HDR10+ content playback with a maximum resolution of 4K 60fps. It comes with Google TV interface and built-in Play Store and Chromecast. You can control the gadget with the included remote control. It has a Google Assistant call button as well as quick launch buttons for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and YouTube Music.

Price and when to expect

Sales of the Realme 4K Smart TV Stick will start on October 16, but so far only in India. The device will be asked for $53 USD. The new product will compete with the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick.
