OnePlus Buds Z2: TWS headphones with ANC, Bluetooth 5.2 and Dolby Atmos support for $77

OnePlus showed in China on October 13 not only the smartphone OnePlus 9RT, but also its new fully wireless headphones OnePlus Buds Z2.

What is known

The novelty is the successor to the original Buds Z (review), which was released in July. The headphones have got the same design, but with updated contents. First of all, Buds Z2 is equipped with active noise cancellation system. Three microphones that can suppress up to 40dB of noise are responsible for its operation. Other features include a transparency mode, low sound delay (94 dB), Dolby Atmos support and 11mm dynamic drivers that deliver deep, rich bass. The headphones connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.2.

As for battery life, the Buds Z2 will last up to 38 hours on a single charge without ANC. With Active Noise Cancellation, this will showcasingly drop to 27 hours. The headphones get IPX4 and IP57 protection as well as a quick connect feature with OnePlus smartphones.

Price and when to expect

OnePlus Buds Z2 will start selling in China on October 19. The asking price is $77 USD.
