Samsung's older flagships get Android 12 operating system

The Android 12 operating system has been released for Samsung's 2019 flagship smartphones. True, as part of the custom LineageOS 19.0 firmware.

What is known

Earlier we wrote about, one of the enthusiasts created the software with Android 12 for Redmi K20 and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. Now developer Ivan_Meler has released an early build of LineageOS 19.0 based on Android 12 for Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e.

For now, the firmware is only available for models with the 8nm Exynos 9820 mobile processor. Moreover, we are already talking about the stable version of the software. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, sound, cameras and fingerprint scanner all work. VoLTE and VoWiFi may be an issue. Also some of the features of LineageOS shell itself are missing but this will be solved in the next update.

Instructions for installing the software on the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e have been published on the XDA Developers forum. The firmware itself can be downloaded there as well.
