It's official: macOS Monterey stable release October 25
Apple, after four months of beta testing, has announced a release date for the stable version of macOS Monterey for Macs.
When to expect
According to the manufacturer's press release, the stable release of the system will take place on October 25. That is next Monday.
Recall macOS Monterey has new features FaceTime and Focus mode for notifications. In addition, the system gets an updated Safari browser and Universal Control feature, which allows you to control multiple Apple devices at once. For example, you can use your mouse, touchpad and keyboard on both Mac and iPad at the same time. You just need to put the tablet next to computer.
The new version of the system will also feature the ability for users to use their laptop as a wireless speaker for their iPhone or iPad via AirPlay. Users will also finally have access to the Shortcuts application.
By the way, besides the stable version macOS Monterey, Apple also plans to release iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, watchOS 8.1 and tvOS 15.1 on October 25.
