Xiaomi cheated - Redmi Note 11 will get 120Hz IPS display instead of AMOLED
Last week Xiaomi published poster, according to which the Redmi Note 11 smartphones should use AMOLED display. As it turns out, the youngest of the three models will get an IPS screen.
What is known
Apparently, we will see AMOLED matrix exclusively in Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The display will boast an increased refresh rate, but whether there will be support for 120Hz at once is still unknown. Most likely yes, as a 120Hz AMOLED screen is used in the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
And the youngest of the three new products will get a liquid crystal panel with 120 Hz. The diagonal will be 6.67". It will definitely get a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Note that Redmi Note 10 without 5G is equipped with 60Hz AMOLED screen, while the fifth-generation version uses IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate.
