Windows 11 manages to launch a full-fledged Google Play Store
Just a few days ago Microsoft started timid attempts to run Android applications on computers with Windows 11 installed. The opportunity to play with the new functionality was opened to a very limited number of "close" users.
But what one person has built can always be broken by another. And this happened to virtual fence built by Microsoft around the support of Android applications. Enthusiasts didn't put up with the situation and launched a full version of the Google Play Store on Windows 11, making literally millions of apps there available to Windows users.
Twitter user under the nickname @ADeltaXForce pretty detailed the process of installing the Google Play Store on the Redmond Corporation's operating system. The relevant materials are posted by him on GitHub (which, ironically enough, is owned by Microsoft).
The editorial gg warns that inexperienced users should not engage in such sabotage, even if they really want to, because the probability of breaking the operating system is far from zero.
