Honor 50 Lite - Google services, 66W charging and 64MP camera for €299
The Honor 50 was followed by the Lite version, which was introduced in Europe. Apparently, it is a copy of the model Huawei nova 8i, but with Google services.
What is known
Honor 50 Lite got a 60Hz Full HD+ liquid crystal panel with a diagonal of 6.67". There's an oval hole at the top left that houses a 16MP selfie camera. The main camera has 64 MP, 8 MP, 2 MP and 2 MP modules.
The capacity of the built-in battery was 4300 mAh. It only takes 38 minutes for it to "recharge" to 100% thanks to 66W fast charging support. The novelty also got a headphone jack, USB-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and lateral biometric sensor.
The above-mentioned parameters and design suggest that Honor 50 Lite is just a renamed model of Huawei nova 8i. If so, the newcomer is equipped with Snapdragon 662 chip. The SoC model is not yet specified on the official website.
The only difference from the Huawei smartphone is in the software. While the nova 8i runs on Android 10 with EMUI 11 and HMS, the Honor 50 Lite gets Magic UI 4.2 firmware along with Google services and Android 11 operating system.
Pricing
The Honor 50 Lite's recommended price was €299 in the modification with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of permanent storage. The smartphone will be sold in black, silver and blue colors. In comparison, the Huawei nova 8i in the same configuration was priced at €349, but the gift was given Huawei FreeBuds 4i headphones for €59.
