Insider: Google is already working on second generation Tensor processor
Although Google only recently released its first proprietary Tensor processor, the company is already working on its successor.
What is known
The information was shared by insider Mishaal Rahman. The new chip comes with the number GS201 and the codename Blueport. No details about the chip yet, but we can assume that it, like the current generation, will be based on the Samsung Exynos processor. It should compete with the Snapdragon 898. Expect the novelty in the near future is not worth it. Most likely, the chip will debut next year along with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Recall that the current generation Tensor is comparable to the Snapdragon 888 in power. The chip is built on 5-nanometer process technology and boasts two high-performance Cortex-X1 cores. They run at 2.8 GHz.
