Xiaomi 12 close: Xiaomi Mi 11 price dropped to historic low
Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Mi 11 smartphone to a historic low. This is another sign that suggests the upcoming unveiling of the next-generation flagship Xiaomi 12.
In China, Xiaomi officially sells smartphones in its own store and on major platforms. On the JD platform, the price of Xiaomi Mi 11 in the base version has dropped to 2,949 yuan, which is equivalent to $460. For that money, users get a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The starting price is $625.
Recall that the flagship was introduced in late December 2020 and was the world's first Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone. It features a WQHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. 108MP primary camera, 20MP front-facing camera and a 4,600mAh battery with 55W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As for the Xiaomi 12, it is expected to premiere next month. The next-generation flagship is promised with Snapdragon 898, 5000mAh battery, 50MP camera and 100W fast charging wired.
