Samsung is preparing more than 50 new smartphones for 2022, but is betting on budget phones rather than flagships
TheElec has learned about Samsung's plans for 2022, including smartphone shipment plan. And from it follows that the South Korean giant will have quite an active year.

when?According to plan, in 2022, Samsung will release 52 models of new smartphones and deliver a total of million units. And although flagships generate significant revenue, still the main focus of Samsung is on mid- and entry-level price segment devices - their will be 267 million of the total in x With 23% of planned shipments coming from the Galaxy A53, A13 and A33 trio: 28, 27 and 23 million respectively. Galaxy A53 and A33 production will begin in the first quarter of next year and A13 in the second quarter. But they will be sold mainly in emerging markets such as India.
As for the higher-end, Galaxy A73 5G production will start in the second quarter, Galaxy A53 5G - in the first. The Galaxy M53 5G, M33 5G and M13 (F13) junior phones will also go into production in the second quarter.
