Realme will enter the foldable smartphone market in 2022

Realme, following OPPO, Xiaomi, Samsung and Huawei, plans to enter the foldable smartphone market.

What is known

Realme's Chief Marketing Officer Xu Qi Chase (Xu Qi Chase) announced this on its Weibo page. According to the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), the first novelty will be introduced in 2022.

Unfortunately, there are no exact release date and details about the smartphone yet, but it is rumored that the device will be part of the flagship Realme GT lineup. It will get a form factor of a book and two screens. The novelty will compete with the Galaxy Z Fold, Huawei Mate X and Xiaomi Mi MIX.

By the way, in addition to the first foldable smartphone, next year Relame is also expected to release its first device with a sub-screen front camera.
