Google Pixel 6a will receive a Tensor chip and a camera that will be different from the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

We recently wrote that the company A simplified Google Pixel 6a revealed in renders with a Pixel 6-style design... Now some details about the new product have appeared on the network.

What is known 

Our colleagues from 9to5Google dig deeper into the application code Google Camera and found out that the device is codenamed Bluejay. The novelty, according to the leak, will be equipped with a triple camera with a main 12.2 MP Sony IMX363 sensor. The exact same sensor is installed in the Pixel 5, Pixel 4a and Pixel 4. It will be complemented by the Sony IMX355 12MP wide sensor. As for the front-facing camera, it will receive an 8MP resolution and a Sony IMX355 sensor, like the base Pixel 6 and last year's Google smartphones.

In addition to information about cameras, the code also says that the new product will run on a processor Tensor, like the older brothers Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. That is, the Pixel 6a is worth the wait for features such as Voice Typing, HDR Video, Live Translate and much more.

Recall that the device is credited with a 6.2-inch OLED display, dimensions 152.2×71.8×8.7 mm, 6/8 GB RAM, 128 GB ROM and a price tag of less than $ 599. 

When to expect

The Pixel 6a isn't worth waiting for this year. The device is planned to be shown in the first half of 2022.
