Telegram at Apple's request removed the vulgar eggplant emoji

V one of of recent updates, the Telegram messenger received a new eggplant emoji, which immediately also caused discontent among users. Complaints worked - and emoji removed.

Why?

The eggplant looked ambiguous: it exploded with white matter and scattered his names. Realizing what subtext the Telegram team put in, users began to complain about App Store. By according to the founder of Telegram Pavel Durov, Apple in eventually demanded to remove emoji.

Durov even launched a survey asking subscribers to choose - "removal of gushing eggplant" or "complete termination of Telegram on Apple devices"... Moreover, the majority of those who voted chose the second option.

However less, the messenger team removed the animation on all platforms. Now instead of "gushing" eggplant displays the usual image of a vegetable. By the way, together with him such the same ambiguous peach emoji.
