Dual screens, Snapdragon 888 processor and 50 MP triple camera: OPPO foldable smartphone specifications appeared on the network

Chinese insider Arsenal has shared on Weibo the details of OPPO's first commercial foldable smartphone.

So, according to the informant, the device will receive two displays: the main one is 8 inches with LTPO AMOLED-matrix, 2K resolution and 120 Hz, as well as an additional 6.5-inch screen with FHD + resolution, 60 Hz and rounded edges. The novelty will work under the control of the Snapdragon 888 processor. 

As for the cameras, there will be four of them in the device: a triple main one with 50 MP + 50 MP + 13 MP and a single front one with 32 MP. The device should also receive a proprietary image processing chip, RAM LPDDR5, UFS 3.1 storage and stereo speakers. Per the autonomy of the smartphone will be answered by a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast wired charging at 65 W and wireless at 50 W.

When to expect

According to rumors, the announcement of OPPO's foldable smartphone is not worth waiting for this year. The novelty is planned to be released in early 2022. The device will compete Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Huawei Mate X2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold.
