Artificial intelligence Botto was able to earn his first million dollars by selling his paintings at NFT auctions.
What we know
The AI artist creates hundreds of images, but only works that users vote for are submitted for auction. Only owners of Botto digital currency can vote.
At the first stage, artificial intelligence creates a chain of words and sentences, and then the Vector Quantized Generative Adversarial Network generates an image using self-learning algorithms and a database of paintings by real masters. In the second stage, the software Contrastive Language-Image Pre-training determines the level of correspondence of the picture to the chain of words created by artificial intelligence.
Next, a description of the image is formed by the natural language processing algorithm GPT-3, which creates up to ten fragments of abstract poems. A suitable option is chosen by already living people who serve Botto.
AI every day generates three hundred images. Cryptocurrency owners Botto can vote for one of 350 works created by the artist during the week. The most popular painting will be converted into a non-fungible token and will go on sale on the SuperRare platform.
A total of six works of artificial intelligence were sold at the auction. The former cost $ 300,000-400,000 for the buyers, and the latter - $ 81,000. The proceeds minus a 15% commission are invested in the development of the Botto project.
