Call of Duty: Warzone may be for smartphones
While Mobile Call Of Duty already has a battle royale mode, insider Tom Henderson says that a mobile version of Warzone is likely to be released next year.
Although its official announcement has not yet taken place, the mention of the game was back in 2020. Already in the inaccessible vacancy of the executive producer of Activision from a potential developer, it was necessary to adapt Warzone to the format of smartphones / tablets.
In addition, in August the company announced about the opening of an internal mobile division, which was occupied by some kind of mobile game for Call of Duty.
This week, Warzone Mobile was spotted in the PlaytestCloud database, a platform that offers testing services to mobile game creators. According to the service, the presence of a shooter in the list is an assumption, however Henderson doubts it.
All the main "battle royals" have already been released on mobile platforms: Pubg, Fortnite, and Apex Legends will soon join them.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile scoped for 2022.
