There are only three smartphones in the range of the manufacturer from Shenzhen, which are equipped with a foldable display. These are Huawei Mate X / Xs and Huawei Mate X2. All of them are made in the form factor Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. But the next model, Huawei Mate V, will try to impose competition on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3.

The flagship will be equipped with a 6.7 ”foldable screen. On the back there are two round blocks - for the main camera and an additional display. The Chinese version of the smartphone received a proprietary Kirin 9000 chip, and in Europe the model will be sold with Snapdragon 888 on board.

The date of the announcement of Huawei Mate V has not yet been specified. The company announced the previous three foldable models in the first quarter of 2019, 2020 and 2021. The cost of a smartphone in China will be $ 2,050.
