According to an insider from the social network Weibo, Huawei is developing a new line of ARM chips.
What is known
The first SoC of the new series will be called Pangu M900. Unlike the Kirin processors, it is planned to be installed only in the company's laptops.
If you believe the rumors, the first computer based on the Pangu M900 may be released to the market in mid-2022. Unfortunately, there are no characteristics of the chip yet, but it can be assumed that it will receive a 5G modem, eight cores and will be built in 5 or 4 nanometer technical process.
By the way, there is a small chance that the new SoC will only be installed in corporate and government devices.
