90 Hz screen, MediaTek chip and 64 MP triple camera: Xiaomi is preparing for the release of the budget employee POCO M4

Xiaomi company introduced a budget smartphone a month ago POCO M4 Pro, and now another device from this line is preparing for release.

What is known

We are talking about the POCO M4 model (2201117PG). The novelty has already been certified by the FCC and EEC. According to the documents, the device will receive a display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In addition, the device will be equipped with a MediaTek chip and a triple main camera. The main sensor will receive a resolution of 64 MP and the OmniVision module OV64B40. It will be complemented by an 8MP Sony IMX355 wide-angle sensor and a 2MP OmniVision OV2A camera. The smartphone will enter the market with a pre-installed Android 11 operating system. 5G support in the new product is not worth waiting for.

Price and when to wait

There is no date for the announcement of POCO M4 yet, but most likely, the smartphone will be presented in the first quarter of 2022. The device will cost less than 230 euros (starting price POCO M4 Pro in Europe).
