Snapdragon 480+, IP68 protection, 50MP camera and MIUI 13 out of the box - Redmi Note 11 JE specs revealed

Xiaomi will soon introduce the Redmi Note 11 JE smartphone, which will boast IP68 water resistance.

Last year, the company announced the Redmi Note 10 JE, which was technically different from the Redmi Note 10 5G. The smartphone for the Japanese market received Snapdragon 480 instead of Dimensity 700, a 4800 mA * battery instead of 5000 mAh and IP68 protection.

Redmi Note 11 JE will not become an exact copy of Redmi Note 11. Firstly, the future novelty will receive a Snapdragon 480+ mobile processor instead of Dimensity 810. 5G support will remain. Secondly, the 8MP ultra-wide-angle module will be removed from the main camera. Thirdly, there will be IP68 water protection. Fourthly, the upcoming model will immediately receive MIUI 13 firmware out of the box, but on Android 11.

The capacity of the built-in battery will not change this time - 5000 mAh. Also, Redmi Note 11 JE will retain a 16 MP selfie camera, stereo speakers and a 6.6 ”IPS display with support for a 90 Hz refresh rate. The price and date of the announcement have not yet been specified.
