Elon Musk discusses artificial intelligence, birth rate and potential Tesla plant with Italian prime minister

On his way to the VivaTech exhibition in Paris, American businessman Elon Musk visited Rome to meet Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

According to Meloni, they discussed "innovation, opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence, European market regulations, and birth rates".

The meeting with the Italian prime minister came at a time when leaders in Europe are trying to convince the head of Tesla to build a car manufacturing plant in their countries.

French digital minister Jean-Noel Barrot plans to discuss the matter with the businessman in the near future.
