SK Telecom, one of South Korea's largest mobile operators, has updated its chatbot and added a feature based on OpenAI's ChatGPT.
Here's What We Know
The company launched a beta version of A. (pronounced 'A dot') last May. The bot now has a Chat T mode based on ChatGPT, as well as a feature that allows you to correspond with an AI character.
"Through these conversations, users can share information about their daily life like they are talking to a close friend," according to the press release.
Unlike ChatGPT, A. has several cartoon avatars. Also added to the product are new AI agents called "A. friends", "that enables emotional and human-like conversations".
