Binance invests $15m in Xterio to develop Web3 artificial intelligence gaming platform

Binance Labs is investing $15 million dollars in Swiss company Xterio, which is developing a Web3 gaming platform with artificial intelligence.

Here's What We Know

Xterio aims to combine free-to-play and blockchain gaming with its own and third-party games in development. The investment will help the company accelerate platform development, integrate AI and issue its own tokens.

Xterio is currently developing an AI toolkit that generates style-coordinated, high-quality 2D and 3D assets, as well as offering an "emotion engine for artificial intelligence". The technology will be available to all content partners in the platform ecosystem.

Xterio's founding team has experience at technology, gaming and entertainment companies such as FunPlus, Ubisoft, Krafton, Jam City and NetEase.
