Microsoft has added picture search to Bing Chat

Microsoft has added a visual search feature to the artificial intelligence-powered Bing chatbot.

Here's What We Know

The feature is based on OpenAI's large multimodal GPT-4 model. It can recognise objects, interpret the content and search the content of an image.

To use the visual search, you need to go into chat mode, upload an image, enter a query and click on the "send message" button. Within a few seconds, the chatbot will produce a result.

Visual search is already available to users worldwide on PCs and in Bing's mobile apps.
