Google is testing artificial intelligence-generated backgrounds for Meet videos

Google has launched Workspace Labs testing backgrounds for its Meet video calling service generated by artificial intelligence.

Here's What We Know

For those who have already enabled this feature in their account, it can be activated by clicking on the effects icon in the bottom right corner of the video before the meeting starts. The user needs to enter a query describing the desired image and then selecting one of the categories.

If the user is already in the meeting and wants to change something, this option is hidden under "Apply vision effects" in the three-dot menu.

The feature is available to members of the Workspace Labs testing programme, However, the company said that its rollout is gradual.
