Anthropic's Claude chatbot has launched a paid plan with the ability to send more messages
Anthropic has introduced a paid version of its Claude chatbot in the US and UK. It offers priority access to the service, early access to new features and the ability to send more messages.
Here's What We Know
The main benefit of Claude Pro is the ability to send five times more messages compared to the free version. Subscribers will be able to communicate with the bot more frequently and more actively.
Anthropic claims that a typical Claude Pro user will receive at least 100 replies in 8 hours. When the limit of 10 remaining messages is reached, the bot will alert you. The message counter will reset every 8 hours.
The subscription costs $20 per month. Anthropic is positioning Claude Pro as a competitor to OpenAI's paid version of ChatGPT Plus, which also costs $20 per month.
